First of all, let me start by saying, Howdy y’all, I’m Sarah. I have been brought in by SKATIC to help in making it bloom into a wonderful music frenzy flower.

Here’s a little bit about me: I’ve been a Hip Hop DJ and Producer over the past 9+ years, gaining the critically acclaimed title of the “Queen of Cashville,” although I’m no longer seeking any notoriety. Still, from time to time, I produce a beat or two for a couple rappers around town. Other than making music, teaching music and promoting music, I enjoy traveling, the writing and photography. Hopefully, with the help of all you gracious musicians, we can take SKATIC to the next level and make it home for struggling musicians and those who just want to share their art.

With that being said, I have a couple FUN features to announce that SKATIC has implemented to make your journey a lot more, well, fun!

I am pleased to be joining the SKATIC team as a blogger with a passion for music. I am originally from Portland Oregon and growing up there made me interested in a wide variety of music from a young age. I left Portland after high school and I have lived in a few different places throughout the world, from Southern California to England and now Spain. I have found enjoyment in the musical cultures everywhere I have been, and these experiences have shaped my musical tastes. Depending on my mood and setting I love music from varying genres such as blues and bluegrass spanning all the way across the board to dub step and electronic. I am very happy to be writing for SKATIC because SKATIC brings variety of new musical talents to the world.


SKATIC exists for one reason, and that reason is MUSIC. But SKATIC is more than a music website where you can browse and stream music for free and without any advertisements, it is also a community. SKATIC is a music community where music enthusiasts and artists can meet each other through their common passion and love of music. Artists share their music for everyone to enjoy, discuss and pass on to their friends. Enthusiasts can discuss and share their favorite music on our forum, twitter and facebook pages. The music player is organized in a way that you can browse music and easily follow your favorite artists and add songs to your playlist without any interruptions in the musical broadcast. SKATIC is always adding new artists who are interested in sharing their art with the users.


We have a few things to look forward to in the coming weeks and months. With the launch of a new blog you can expect all kinds of new and regular music related content, such as information about new bands and genres or interviews with some of your old favorites. Also, we recently launched a new fan page on facebook and twitter for our members and artists to show their support and for us to keep everyone updated on anything and everything MUSIC.
