MJS is based in Warwickshire in the UK and started in entertainment by building mobile disco units for local DJs in the Bristol area as a hobby, and sometimes DJ-ing with a partner.

Later on, MJS was involved in the local music scene in Bristol including The Green Rooms – a local R&B and rock club, and The Rainbow Club where such bands as U2 played in their very, very early years.

After a long break, MJS returned to his musical roots a couple of years ago and started producing his own material – which is what you hear today.

Influences: MJS draws on many different influences for his productions today. From rock music of the 70’s (Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin and others), punk of the 80’s (Elvis Costello, The Stranglers etc.) and modern music (Prodigy, Faithless). Anything
that makes the sound unique and very, very special.
