Singing has always been the first passion for Sweet Ambition, and coming from such talented, musically influenced background, almost made it inevitable for music not to be something she felt so strongly about. Sweet Ambitions father, who was a musician, was formally in a rock band and also pursued a solo career, her mother a spectacular artist, who has had several exhibitions and also passed her degree in Fine Art. Learning to sing from a very early age was only the beginning, with her mother as her vocal coach and management this only encouraged her talent and ambition to perform. Sweet Ambition would attend talent competitions and sing anywhere she could, with both her parents always in support of her talent. Writing her own songs came natural to her, she would write down her thoughts and feelings as poems and they soon turned into songs, Later Sweet Ambition started to create her own digital music productions with the help and support of her partner, whom also has the same passion for music being a producer. Currently Sweet Ambition is learning to play the piano to develop her skills further and to integrate this new ability into her music. Sweet Ambition is working on her first Album ‘Wings Unfolded’ due to be released later this year. The Album explores the uncovering of self, and focuses on how important and unique love is, most of Sweet Ambition’s songs are about making the most of life and not being held back by invisible barriers, that can be created by others and sometimes even yourself. She sings about frustrations and stresses that we all come across in our everyday life; she feels these songs can be very inspirational and uplifting. She believes that singing is an amazing way to express herself, it’s not always easy to put your heart and soul into words, but when it needs to be set free, it comes without any thought at all, being able to express herself through her music is very important and considered as a gift. The Multitalented artist believes that there is no limit when it comes to something you love doing, if you have passion and persistence combined with positive thinking it really is a key to success. As a singer/ songwriter, Music holds a special place in Sweet Ambitions heart; it has always there when she needed it. Sweet Ambition feels that the support of her loved ones, has encouraged her to progress in her music career and feel more confident in herself, but also believes that the strength you need to carry out your dreams, needs to come from within, no matter how much others support you, if you don’t believe in yourself, the you are holding yourself back. Sweet Ambition has performed for personal and wider events on various occasions such as Universities, Weddings, and Outside events open to the public. Inspiration and Idols: Sweet Ambition has been influenced by many amazing artists, and has an interest in various styles of music, the ones that have been the most influential are Dina Carroll, Whitney Huston, Sade, Nina Simone and the one and only Alicia Keys, whom is her most recent idol to date, She loves the positive energy that she creates as well as her passion for life and music. Other influences are Michael Jackson, Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Stereophonics, Muse, The White Stripes and Tina Turner.
